Find the way:

On foot/by bike: Approx. 10 minutes walk/5 minutes by bike from the center of Stavanger, follow Øvre Strandgate through Gamle Stavanger to IDDIS, the Norwegian Printing Museum and the Norwegian Canning Museum.

By car: The nearest car park is P-Kyrre Parkeringhus or P-Arketten at the Stavanger concert hall. From both P-garages it is approx. 5 minutes to walk through Gamle Stavanger to IDDIS, the Norwegian Printing Museum and the Norwegian Canning Museum.

By bus: For example, bus no. 12 from stop Olav Vs gate J in the center of Stavanger to stop Rudlå. From there, go down through Gamle Stavanger to IDDIS, Norwegian Printing Museum and Norwegian Canning Museum.

Facilitation for reduced vision: The buildings are partially adapted for the visually impaired using guide lines in the outdoor area and guide lines indoors in the foyer. Free audio guide at the museum.

Facilitation for impaired hearing: QR codes at something in the exhibition that links to a sign language video

The building and exhibitions: In the new exhibitions, arrangements have been made so that visitors who use wheelchairs can visit the entire museum.

Special challenges: The house in Øvre Strandgate 90 is not adapted for the disabled. There is no access to the house both from the backyard and from Øvre Strandgate. There is no lift in the building, and members of the public who cannot climb stairs cannot visit the building's second floor. There is also limited access to three of the exhibition rooms on the second floor of the canning museum.
