Smoking of sardines

Tuesday and thursdays throughout the summer

During the summer months there will be smoking of sprat twice a week, as well as the regular smoke sunday every month. Every Tuesday and Thursday during this period, you can taste freshly smoked sprat, straight from the hot wood burning ovens. The museum's smoker puts the boards into the oven so the first tastes are ready at about half past eleven. Depending on audience mass and visits, it may run out of sprat throughout the day.

Guided tours are available in Norwegian or English, based on the wishes and needs. In the café in the Labor House you can buy waffles, hot and cold drinks. The café is open every day during the summer season from 15th of May to the 15th of September, from 10am to 4 pm.
